Religion: 95 % percent of the Balinese are Hindu but differs much form its Indian origin. However they are worshipping the same gods as the Hindus in India. For Balinese, gods, spirits and entities have far more relevance in everyday life.


Among Indonesia's diverse ethnics and peoples, the Balinese are extraordinarily creative with a highly theatrical culture. Arts to Balinese exist within their everyday lives. Even the simplest activities are carried out in care and devotion.

 

As in their society, a single Balinese is very communal. He/she belongs to his/her family, clan, caste, and the village as a whole and religion come together in all of their aspects of life, ceremonies and rituals.
